A Bunny of a Good Time!

Easter is all about Easter baskets full of eggs, candy, and Chocolate Bunnies! Why not make your own Chocolate bunny this year with this fun recipe for a Kellog's Rice Krispies Treats Bunny.


        What You'll Need:

  • 3 tbl butter or margarine
  • 1 package (10oz) marshmallows or 4 cups minature marshmallows
  • 6 cups Kellogs Cocoa Krispies cereal.
  • 1 can chocolate frosting
  • Colored taffy
  • 1 can aresol whip cream
  • Candy-coated chocolates
  • Little white mints
  • Wax Paper
  • Non-stick cooking spray or a suitable substitute
  • Rabbit shaped stencil and knife or a rabbit shaped cookie cutter
  1. Coat two 13" X 9" X2" baking pans in cooking spray.


  2. Begin by melting the butter/margarine and the marshmallows on high for 2 min in a microwave safe bowl.


  3. Add cereal to the marshmallow mixture, stirring until well coated.


  4. Take a small amount of your mixture out and leave it on the side on a piece of wax paper - we'll use this for the ears and arms soon.


  5. Spread the mixture into your pre-greased pans.


  6. Let mixture cool slightly and then cut it into bunny shapes using a rabbit-shaped stencil and a knife or a rabbit-shaped cookie cutter.


  7. Spray hands with non-stick cooking spray and shape the extra mixture we set aside into ears and arms. You can attach them to the body with the chocoloate frosting if needed.


  8. Use the taffy and the chocoloates to add Eyes and the mints to add teeth to your bunny.Use more frosting to attach the decorations if needed.


  9. Last but not Least - Add your bunny tail with a quick dab of the whip cream.
