Homemade Picture Books!

Do you have family members that live far away? Are they always asking you for pictures of your adorable kids? Well, guess what they're getting for Christmas this year...

What you'll need:

  • Adorable photos of your kids
  • Construction paper
  • glue
  • staples or ribbon
  • pen
  • OR just an internet conection and some digital photos

1.) Make copies of your photos on your computer or at a copy store.

2.) Glue the pictures to the construction paper (you choose the size you want). Write a story about the pictures (maybe they're all about your day at the Zoo) and caption each picture with a description.

3.) STaple your pages together or tie with ribbon. Make sure to keep one for yourself because your kids will ove to read a book about themselves!

The Digital Alternative

4.) If you have a digital camera, you can also have these books made for you online. There are TONS of sites that develop digital photos (just search for develop digital photos), and most of them make books, mugs, calendars, and other gifts, too. The best thing is that it's easy, it's cheap (usually about $5-$10 per book), and the finished product is very clean and professional. What a wonderful keepsake!
